Are you dreaming of an elopement in Tuscany, but not with the usual hilly landscape? Picture this scene: sun-drenched skies, azure waters and a wedding venue so beautiful that it literally takes your breath away.

An elopement in Italy is the epitome of romance and luxury, and “Swept Away” –  a styled shooting organized by Paolo Cicognani and its team of vendors – was the perfect way to showcase this. Let yourself be enticed by what you’ll read and see…

Luxury elopement on a boat

Swept Away, a perfect elopement in Tuscany

La Torre di Talamonaccio is the exclusive wedding venue that we chose for this elopement in Tuscany. Ideal for couples who wish to get married with an intimate gathering, it clings to the edge of a cliff and offers unrivaled views across the sea.  If the views aren’t enough, the natural beauty and many historical sites of the surroundings will surely make your heart flutter.

“Swept Away” was planned and designed by us – Paolo Cicognani’s team – and brought to life thanks to the cooperation of an amazing series of vendors that you’ll get to virtually meet soon.

Featured in Unveiled Magazine, the styled shoot was inspired by a scene from Quantum of Solace, the James Bond 007 movie, with the groom arriving to the venue on a boat with the backdrop of a breath-taking landscape and unreal atmosphere. The ultimate way to start the day in total bliss!

The entrance of the venue was decorated with flowing drapes and the prettiest floral design – understated yet effortlessly elegant.

The event was captured on camera by Jules Photographer with videography by Marco Abba, and our incredibly talented suppliers worked together to create an epic editorial in a one-of-a-kind location.

We aimed to tell the story of two people who are wildly in love. With the bride-to-be wearing the most exquisite wedding dress by a luxury brand, that enhanced her graceful figure, and the groom in a sleek black tuxedo – they both had the perfect look for a romantic elopement in Tuscany. A smaller wedding doesn’t mean you have to compromise on the style or luxury of the event!

Elopement Italy

Wishing for a luxury elopement in Italy?

Couples who want to step away from tradition and really soak up the experience of their wedding day may love the thought of an elopement in Tuscany – after all, what could be more enchanting than running off to Italy to get married?

And although elopements were born as couples-only celebrations, you might want to have a few friends and family members by your side. That’s not an issue: we can arrange your day just as you wish – perhaps allowing you all to enjoy a feast with Italian cuisine and wine, and the Tuscan sunset as your backdrop. Or maybe with a ceremony where the sea, sparkling under the warm sun, is the only witness. Well, the sun and a professional photographer and videographer, who will capture the essence of your wedding so that you could re-live it over and over again in the years to come.

No matter how big or small your celebration may be, we at Paolo Cicognani can help you plan it and exceed all your expectations. We want to create something different from the average destination wedding in Tuscany – something that shows how real luxury lies in the extreme care for every detail.

All you have to do is get in touch with us, then escape to Italy for a luxury elopement and say “I do” just the way you’ve always dreamed of.
