That’s why we – Paolo Cicognani and team – fell in love with Villa Pazzi al Parugiano as soon as we found it.

This historic estate, originally built in the Middle Age, underwent different renovations as time – and owners – went by. The Pazzi family, very influential people in the Florentine society of those times, turned into a Renaissance masterpiece. Then Giovanni Stradano, a painter who worked with Giorgio Vasari, covered the whole Chapel of Santa Maria Maddalena dei Pazzi in frescoes. And, in case you’re wondering: yes, you can get married with a religious ceremony inside this jewel, that holds up to 50 people.

More changes were applied by the sculptor – and following owner – Adolfo Coppedé who, for example, built the Altana: a covered loggia that overlooks the Italian garden, an amazing setting for your symbolic ceremony or wedding reception.

Finally, Villa Pazzi al Parugiano was completely renovated by the current owners in a very respectful way, so that the guests can enjoy the majesty of the place and feel like they were teleported to a different time.

The Chapel, the Altana and the Italian garden of Villa Pazzi are not the only possible frames for your wedding in Tuscany. The Orangerie, for example, is the best choice if you wish for an after-dinner dancing party. But you could also choose to set part of your event in the grand Ballroom, in one of the lounge areas or in the frescoed bedrooms – an excellent background for the bride and groom preparation.
