An enchanting Jewish wedding in Tuscany

The exquisite Villa Pazzi al Parugiano, nestled among the Tuscan hills, served as the perfect backdrop for this extremely elegant Jewish wedding. The bride and groom-to-be desired a traditional religious wedding, set in a timeless Italian venue: that’s precisely what we, Paolo Cicognani and team, created – an unforgettable celebration that beautifully blended cultural heritage with Italian charm.

Talia and Aviel’s Jewish wedding: refined romanticism at its best

The couple – a creative force in advertising and a talented jewelry maker – came all the way from Chicago with their loved ones and Rabbi too. They wanted their Jewish wedding to be as traditional as possible, though located in an uncommon setting: a luxurious Italian villa. We chose Villa Pazzi al Parugiano, a Renaissance masterpiece that offers absolute beauty and versatility.

The wedding day began with a tender first look in the Altana of the venue. Talia and Aviel then shared their private vows in this intimate setting, surrounded by the breathtaking views of the Italian garden of the villa and the Tuscan landscape. This precious moment was followed by the traditional signing of the Ketubah, witnessed by their closest family members, bridesmaids, groomsmen, the Rabbi and the Cantor.

We then moved on to the Jewish wedding ceremony, which took place in the lush park of the villa, where a beautiful chuppah was erected to symbolize the home that Aviel and Talia would build together. The setting was magical, with the structure draped in delicate fabrics and adorned with stunning floral arrangements by Stiatti Fiori. The golden rays of sunlight that appeared through the branches of the trees added a dreamy quality to the ceremony, making it a moment that everyone in attendance would remember forever.

A festive reception and spectacular celebration

Following the heartfelt Jewish ceremony, guests were treated to a delightful aperitif in the park. The dinner, held on the paved floor of the villa’s Italian gardens, was a picture of refinement and charm. Tables were dressed in soft pink linens and decorated with delicate, understated floral arrangements in shades of pale pink and white, echoing the bride’s fine and graceful nature. Golden cutlery and inlaid crystals completed the picture.

Before dinner commenced, the couple invited their guests to the garden lawn for the Hora, a traditional Jewish dance that brought an infectious energy and joy to the celebration. The sight of Talia and Aviel lifted into the air on chairs, surrounded by cheering friends and family, was one of the highlights of the evening.

As the night progressed, the couple and their guests enjoyed a sumptuous dinner, followed by a fabulous cake cutting. The evening of this Jewish wedding culminated in a breathtaking display of fireworks, that left everyone in awe, and a lively party in the Limonaia. Known for their love of festivities, the Persian heritage of the couple shone through in the vibrant, glamorous party that continued late into the night.

A heartfelt “thank you”

Reflecting on their experience, the lovely newlyweds expressed their deepest gratitude to Paolo Cicognani and his team:

“Paolo, we are so thankful for everything you and your team have done for us.
